Our Mission: To provide a collaborative community to support both emerging and established textile artists looking toward ever improving their skills. Lahara Textiles also provides a gallery in which Loft members can show and sell their work. Lahara Textiles is a member of the Countryside Artisans group which has 4 studio tours each year and a large following.

When we took over Lahara Textiles and the fantastic studio on the second floor, our first thought was that we must share this space with others. One's creative spirit is unleashed here. Between the physical beauty of the surrounding area, the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve, and the incredible studio space, we found that we can't wait to get there and begin working on our various projects. It must be the adage, "beauty begets beauty." We urge you to come and look at this space and to join us working with the fiber things you love. Don't look at the map and say it's too far. It really isn't. You will feel your creativity rising with every moment
